LEXI3000 Sample Monkey...

I have been well into music and how its created ever since I was old enough to work a cassette player, i spent my teen years teaching myself how to play drums and DJ.

I had been through phases of listening to  just about every sort of music from Motown to Metal and from Orchestral to Old skool Hip hop i started to get some cool sounds bouncin around in my head.

After getting my hands on a couple of the e-jay music programs and twating around makin tunes for a while i knew i wanted to take this to the next level.

In 2006 i got Cubase and a midi Keyboard and started religously buying Computer Music and Music Tech Mags each month, and i have to say that i owe great thanks to them for all the samples i got!

With a lack of intersting vocal samples and sounds to fit into my tracks i decided to start sampling sounds from everthing i could,  i have aslo started to dabble in a bit of circuit bending recently which is a truly black art!.

I have produced some cool tracks and have a shit load of ideas that could do with some input from vocalists in different genre's,  I  recently tracked beats to a track with a local vocalist based on his lyrics about knife crime.
